Final parties and farewells

All good things come to an end unfortunately, and so it is here as well, the academic year has just finished and I have had to say farewell to many of my best friends who are going back home for their summer vacations. I will be staying here for the rest of the summer to continue my project which I have to hand in in September.

So what better way to celebrate these last few days together than having another party binge hehehe, it was a great week of parties during which I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was a very emotional time as I was having so much fun with my friends while at the same time I knew they would be leaving soon so we were really united in making these last days a memorable time. Of course the last Hey Ewe and last FND were memorable nights, completed by pre parties and after parties at my flat like old times :) We also enjoyed some house parties and a final International party, as well as a visit to the Lufbra clubs Vice Versa and Rapture, which is a great place for house music :D

Anyway my message to all you guys who have left this great University I can say that this has been the best year of my life and it was you all who made it so good. You guys have been there for me during the difficult times and during the best times too and I will never forget the friendships I have made here. Of course you are all invited to Malta whenever you like, and I also hope to visit you in your country if I have the chance. In the meantime let's keep in contact through facebook, msn etc and come on to keep the lufbra party spirit alive!!! :D

Holiday in Malta :D

Just got back from Malta, and what a great holiday it has been! It was really great to party with my Loughborough friends together with my Malta friends, a really unique experience. The party ppl who made it to Malta were Alex, Sophie, Chrissi and Verena and we made up a great team together. We visited many places in Malta, and also had the chance to spend a day in Comino and another in Gozo. The parties were definitely big highlights especially Gianpula with me and Alex dancing all out on the box :D

It was really interesting for me to see Malta from the eyes of a tourist and I must say that its a really great place for having a holiday :D

I'm also glad I got to meet my family and all my friends who were also great and very friendly with my lufbra friends.

Now I'm back in Loughborough to continue working on my summer project and this week promises to be a very emotional one too with many friends leaving after their exams, and also some big end of term parties, so check out this space for more updates soon!

Modules over, soon back for a holiday in Malta!

Finally modules are over, although I must say that I really enjoyed the last module which was about developing websites in PHP, which is of course one of my hobbies so I didn't really see it as work but rather play :D However there were some tough bits where I had to motivate the rest of my group to contribute their part of the project, anyway in the end it was a great project and our final product was very well received.

So now I'm ready and I have to start working on my final summer project, and that's what I'm doing right now at 5.10AM on a Friday hehe, been at the library all night was quite an experience I must say, being here gives you alot of energy and I still haven't entertained any thoughts about going to bed. In fact I don't know till when I will be here altough the sun is already up hehe and I think I'd better leave soon or risk sleeping the whole day.

Anyway a party update as usual: last party was the Playboy party which was a total disaster, and that's all i will say about it as I dont want to think about it. Apart from that we had a great international party last Saturday, which was followed by some more partying at Rapture till 5.30am hehe, another party record since i've been here.

But the real big news is that I'll be back in Malta next Monday! I've decided to take a 10 day holiday in my beloved island and I'm also getting 4 of my best friends with me, which promises to be totally wicked :D I hope to take them partying and to the beach of course, as well as a visit to a traditonal festa (probably Haz Zebbug). So my appeal to all the friends back in Malta is to party with us while I'm there come on let's have some fun!
