New friends and trips :D

Time for another update my friends, I've been really busy during the second part of February and March. I've made alot of new friends as well as more international students have arrived for semester two, and I've also met some others who had been here since the beginning but never came to parties. I had some really stressful work and lectures along the way, however it was definitely not a period to stay inside and sulk, coz I've been to some really great places and also played alot of sport :)

The trip highlights were definitely Edinburgh and Valencia in March. I went to Edinburgh with many international friends and it was a really good weekend, we slept in mixed rooms and had a good party where some people got very happy and made alot of noise and funny stuff haha. I must say that Edinburgh is a really beautiful city and we were also blessed with good weather on the first day, although it was still quite cold. All in all a very good weekend break with a bunch of great friends :D

Now to talk about Valencia, I've just arrived from there and what can I say, it was a really great holiday where I had the opportunity to enjoy the feast of Fallas and meet some friends who have gone back to Spain after semester 1 (Rafa, Raquel and Ignacio). In fact we (Alex,Rico,Raquel, and me) stayed at Ignacio's house. I must thank him and his family again for showing such great hospitality, we even ate some very good food cooked by his mother :) The fallas itself was something new for me, resembling a Maltese village feast but on a much larger scale. There were some spectacular fireworks and skillfully made falla monuments which impressed me. In the evenings the place transformed itself into an all out party with thousands of young people drinking, dancing and making stupid things in the street hehe. There was some really crazy things at times but on the whole it was a really nice experience which I hope to repeat again in the future.

During the Feb-March period I also did some more partying as usual, although I can't really remember any outstanding parties during this period, we do miss some of our semester 1 party friends as we are finding it difficult to enjoy parties as much as before now that they are gone.

I will soon be back in Malta for Easter holidays so to all my Maltese friends I would like to say that I wish to meet you all again so please contact me and we can party or go out together to have a good time :D
